Bayleys is an organisation that knows a thing or two about high quality commercial building fit outs - so Aspect was proud to be chosen as their partner for their new Wynyard Quarter HQ in Auckland.
The previous Bayleys office was heavily compartmentalised, with ageing furniture and high screens, making various departments feel isolated from each other.
For their new HQ, Bayleys wanted a bespoke solution, using the latest technology and with multiple types of working spaces across single open plan floor templates, which subtly differentiated areas where managers, sales and admin staff work. The key aim was to embrace new ways of working, while increasing collaboration across departments.
To do this, we adapted our core furniture systems to create unique products, which included customising the Zurich 4 and Runway ranges with storage components and accessories.
Since the fit out, feedback received from Bayleys has been extremely positive. The new furniture and layouts have helped to increase collaboration and revived team spirit. It’s also created a sense of pride in the office, with staff particularly happy with their new breakout areas, café and superior meeting facilities.
