Spanning 3 levels, the 3,400sqm site needed to cater for a variety of government & community services within the one location.
Located in the Cosmopolitan Centre on Bowes Place in Woden, the fit-out has been designed as a flexible activity-based working (ABW) environment which will assist to drive a positive change in workplace behaviours & develop a new collaborative social culture.
A range of Aspect Furniture workstation settings were provided to enable greater flexibility for teams to adapt to evolving business requirements and provide options for staff to work comfortably in an office environment that suits their needs.
Craig Simmons, Director at Aspect Canberra, said “the project [is] a game changer for us as an organisation and as an example to the rest of the ACT Government about what can be done in an office fit-out. Our people and visitors have been amazed at what has been achieved in the look and feel, the design in both layout and colour are exceptional.”
Aspect Zurich sit-to-stand workstations were utilised by Canberra for all workpoints, while Harbour pods were implemented for the focus and meeting spaces.
