Kernel | Auckland
A workplace where financial heritage meets modern ambition. Considered, custom and built for the future of investing.
Location: Auckland | Size: 1120m²
Kernel’s new workplace occupies 125 Queen Street, one of Auckland’s significant financial landmarks and the former BNZ headquarters. For Kernel, a progressive fintech and wealth management company, the address carries real resonance, an opportunity to shape the next era of investing inside a building that helped define New Zealand’s financial industry.
Aspect worked with Catalyst Group to supply a broad range of furniture, thoughtfully finished to align with the space’s considered material palette. At the heart of the space, our custom powder coated Activate+ workstations offer a considered, contemporary solution, their finish echoing the building’s bold character. The Atlas boardroom table anchors the space as a striking feature piece, its polished aluminium base contrasting the room’s rich green interior, complemented by the Path task chair’s refined finish. Akita chairs bring comfort across a variety of meeting settings, while Kusabi tables and benches create an informal place for teams to catch up.
The result is a workplace built entirely around how Kernel works, furnished with pieces that respect the building’s past while supporting the team today. Where heritage and ambition meet, the difference shows in every detail.
