KiwiRail, New Zealand’s premier rail transport service, has shifted its office commute from Parnell towards the city fringe to the Millennium Centre hub. The new office is an exciting space designed to embrace new ways of working to enhance collaboration and inter-team connectivity.

Situated across two levels, the workplace provides an open work environment with a variety of focus and collaborative settings.

The emphasis on flexible and modular solutions allowed 4WoRK and Aspect to deliver a futureproofed office, adaptable to the changing needs of the KiwiRail staff.

Along the central spine of each floor a row of Studio Pod meeting rooms are surrounded by Activate and Zurich 5 workstations.

The Studio Pods offer an acoustically sound meeting room solution for people sitting at their desks to use for presentations or confidential meetings. The close proximity allows the employees to conveniently drop in and out of the pods as they wish, without having to travel far from their desks.

Sector 2 leaners can be found in the office space and cafeteria, used as a place for agile and office-based workers to connect, collaborate and socialise.
