A post-covid workplace designed to energise and enrich.

Kiwi food brand, Silver Fern Farms, recently moved into their newly refurbished headquarters in Dunedin. Located within one of the city’s heritage buildings, the post-covid workplace pays homage to the company’s New Zealand roots.
Unispace, the designers, were tasked with the challenge of building a work experience where employees are left feeling more energised and enriched than they were before. To help support this goal, Aspect provided a range of furniture that support flexible and team-based working styles.
Aspect was engaged as a local manufacturer, with our manufacturing plant in Timaru providing Silver Fern Farms with all the benefits of a local supply chain, including, faster lead times, design flexibility, quality assurance and a smaller environmental footprint. In addition to this, our ability to craft tailored furniture pieces was essential for the unique spaces involved in this project.
Aspect designed several custom solutions for this fit out, including hexagonal desks using our Activate system. Another unique element of this project was collaborating with Unispace to develop a sliding whiteboard and acoustic panel solution. The multi-purpose design can be used to establish different zones within the office or be pushed aside to increase open-plan flow.
