Premium appliance brand Miele recently opened the doors to its state-of-the-art Victorian headquarters. Located in the affluent suburb of Hawthorn, the brand-new facility is a landmark destination designed to meet the needs of future workplace practice.

The move to the new location signifies a shift in Miele’s business environment. Embracing the changing landscape of workplace culture, Miele has introduced an agile and activity-based way of working to their staff. The establishment of different zones, including spaces to focus, collaborate and socialise, provides employees with the opportunity to use their space how they best see fit depending on their tasks for the day.

Aspect was engaged to deliver high-performing solutions with an emphasis on flexibility and the latest workplace technology. Working closely with architects WMK and directly with the client, Aspect resolved a full furniture plan ranging from desk systems to mobile storage.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

The result is a contemporary workspace that is equally as functional as it is stylish. A sophisticated and moody colour palette, representing the premium qualities of the brand, is complemented by a spacious office area full of natural lighting and greenery.

 
 
 
 
 

Activate sit-to-stand workstations are fitted with Floorsight technology, a desk reservation, occupancy, and wayfinding system that allows businesses to maximise the benefits of activity-based working models. The workpoints are paired with Zone task chairs providing the end-user with supreme comfort and functionality.
