Working closely with the team at Squiz, Aspect recently provided a range of furniture solutions for their boutique office space located in central Wellington. The space is a 250m² open-plan office full of character and personality.
With a focus on New Zealand made pieces, the client wanted to utilise locally manufactured products that weren’t currently affected by global shipping delays. Working on a short timeline that required a prompt manufacturing turnaround, the Wellington Aspect team collaborated with Squiz from design through to manufacturing and installation of furniture.
Aspect successfully met the brief with a variety of flexible workplace solutions within a 10-week timeframe from order date to installation.
The challenge was to create privacy within the constraints of a small open-plan office with no acoustics. Squiz were wanting a flexible meeting pod system to enable an acoustically protected space for staff to think, have uninterrupted meetings or private discussions. Additionally, the client required adaptable solutions that they could repurpose in future spaces.
Our free-standing Studio Pod range was the ideal solution for Squiz, made especially appealing by its short lead time and installation timeframe. Studio Pod’s are an excellent alternative to built-in meeting rooms as they eliminate lead times on building materials and can be relocated.
Our Studio Pod phone booth provides an acoustically sound space to make confidential phone calls, with minimal disruption from the main workspace area.
Project Series mobile whiteboards and panels are used behind the desking hub to add further flexibility to the space. This encourages workers to look up from their computer screens and engage in effortless brainstorming and workshopping.
