Location: Wellington | Size: 14,200m²

Te Iho, 1 Bowen Street establishes a central hub for multiple government agencies to collaborate and connect. The transformation creates a hybrid work environment supporting a broad range of activities with shared breakout spaces, flexible meeting settings, and quiet areas for focused work. The fit-out responds to the variety needs of government work, blending adaptability, security, and connection.

Aspect partnered with Warren and Mahoney to deliver workplace furniture solutions at scale, drawing on our product range known for reliability, longevity, and local support. Smart furniture selection enables spaces to flex as needs evolve, balancing durability with the clean, enduring aesthetic required for a shared government environment.

The furniture solution supports the government’s vision for a modern, people-centred public service prioritising wellbeing and adaptability. Throughout the precinct, seating, tables, and workstations give staff autonomy over how and where they work—whether collaborating across agencies, working independently, or connecting informally. Studio Pods provide acoustic privacy for sensitive discussions and deep work, while agile meeting furniture adapts throughout the day to support evolving team needs. Every element was chosen to create an environment where innovation, connection, and performance can flourish.

The result is a highly considered, human-centric workplace that enables secure collaboration while supporting the government’s long-term operational needs. Aspect’s furniture solutions help position Te Iho as a future-ready environment bringing teams and agencies together while reinforcing the government’s commitment to creating adaptable workspaces for evolving work modes.
